How does a relatively unknown brand like Nitto Tire manage to eclipse big names like Ford Mustang, Porsche, Audi and Harley-Davidson in social media? The Nitto Tire brand that can also claim the title of fastest-growing automotive brand on Facebook in June and August 2014.
Again, how does that happen?
Social media has become a very important avenue for a business and brand to connect and engage with consumers. Nitto Tire, a leading manufacturer of off-road and street performance tires, has proven to be quick in embracing this trend.
The Nitto Tire Facebook page gained its 10 millionth fan on September 29, 2014. If that’s not impressive enough, the tire company’s social popularity nearly doubled in the first three quarters of 2014 and has been used to engage customers for contests and crowd-sourcing.
More than 20,000 fans have entered to win the Nitto Tire Ford Mustang give-away through its Facebook page.
